Since Neil and the young lady from the Garden Room left, I have noticed a clear decline in the standard of service. Unfortunately, the service is no longer at the level you would expect from a five-star hotel. Some of the male staff lack professionalism, and their attitude and way of dealing with customers are simply not acceptable. Having experienced the service at The Peninsula, The Berkeley and Four Seasons, I can clearly see the difference in the level of professionalism and customer service.
We had a wonderful experience at the Garden Room. Both Cesar and Angel were very kind and knowledgeable in both cigars and pairing suggestions. It was wonderful seeing the passion for their work.
Very cozy and not overcrowded, which I really appreciated. Everyone was so nice and welcoming, and especially Cesar — he made the night so much more fun. Super helpful, very funny, and just a pleasure to be around. Would definitely come back.
Nice, chill vibe. Excellent cigars and whiskies.
