Coasted into the parking lot with a bad alternator, immediately the owner of the shop went out of his way to help me with the issue. I decided to take the alternator off myself in the parking lot since I had a trailer hooked up. The owner was extremely kind to let me use his tools and once the alternator was off, I began to walk to the parts store on foot. Snarkily told me my car was burning oil, and there was nothing they could do about it. They finished some other work which seemed overpriced. Turbo Tim's took one look at my engine and said it's not burning oil, you have a minor leak in a gasket. That is causing the oil levels to deplete. They had videos to show the leak and everything.
