Well walking in to the strong smell of paint and a dirty sock were a real bummer. However we stay here frequently so tried to overlook it. But every time we come there are fewer amenities. They used to have breakfast treats in the mornings, sunscreen and off for you to use in On your way out and happy hour treats in the afternoons and unlimited beach towels at your disposal. Great hotel and close to the beach
My little family and I enjoyed our stay so much at the Galvestonian! The view, pool and boardwalk to the beach was fantastic. What made this even better was how helpful Oscar and Frank were when I realized after returning home that we left our beach towels, bathing suits and shirt covers in the washing machine. They were very helpful with setting it up to be mailed back to us. We look forward to booking with them in the future!
I've stayed here several times. The kids love the pool more than the beach (I think I do as well).
