Absolutely stunning
I picked up a bartender shift at The Gallery/Kill Devil for a wedding Spring 2025. It was the 2nd worst event I've ever worked. First, no one mentioned ice machine was broken, the lid fell and cut up my face. Mgr saw and didn't care, told me to take a few minutes to clean up. Signed up to attend Beto O'rourk's town hall meeting. However, after arriving at 6 pm and standing in line for 30 minutes we were turned away due to the event being at capacity. Wasted time, gas, and money for parking. Every patron who were not admitted in should be reimbursed.
Had a very nice evening this past Friday at the Gallery’s adjacent venue, Kill Devil Club. We were served a five course meal expertly paired with wine and bubbles. They had a chef and a sommelier who explained the inspiration behind each dish and pairing. However, I would have never thought to go had it not been for the head bartender, Mike, who is one of my favorite bartenders in the city.
