Did not stay here but did dine here for my second time. I don't understand a lot of the reviews below. Every single moment of the evening was impeccable. For perspective, I have a long history of experience working in and dining at high end restaurants which helps inform my opinion. The Gables is nothing short of amazing. My wife and I went to dinner here. Pre-fixe menu was $145 per person. With this we received three courses. Prior to ordering we received a warm loaf of bread in a bag and one oyster each. For the appetizers, my wife ordered carrots in a bowl with a sauce and seasonings. I ordered Thai coconut soup. For our main course we both got the bone in filet medium rare. Did not stay here, just ate. Average food that is overpriced. You're paying for the atmosphere and the service which are great. But if you're looking for gourmet food, you'll be disappointed.

We had an amazing experience at The Gables Inn! Our son and future daughter-in-law were engaged across the street and we had dinner there afterwards. The attention to detail, the friendliness of the staff and sounds of the piano music, made our evening even more memorable. The food was absolutely incredible! Erin our waitress did a wonderful job accommodating all of us! Can’t wait to go back!
