A party of four dined here tonight and my review is an honest review of our experience...at first blush, the property is absolutely gorgeous and the owner Sandra was absolutely lovely. The ambiance is gorgeous, romantic, and you will feel as if you are in France. However, the tables were very tight, and the dining room felt cramped. We retreated by the wait staff as though we're the only patrons in the restaurant. The delivery of the food was prompt the food was amazing and the wine choices were excellent too. We were not rushed and it was as comfortable and as beautiful as you could hope for.

The Gables is an outstanding gem in downtown Beach Haven. A quality chef who rivals any New York fine dining, the curated interior, and personalized attention with experienced service, creates an experience that we find no where else in Philadelphia or New York. We had a bone-in filet mignon which is the best we've ever had, and we are very picky and cook specialized cuts at home frequently (we rarely prefer steaks out).
