Jan 1st I had a propane/electrical nightmare, the service was great then, I Remeber smelling propane then but I figured it was just because of the problems I was having, the tech diagnosed and called me to tell me he was getting the part which was awesome. Fast forward to march 20 I became nose blind to the smell and my friend came over and mentioned it. I purchased my home just under two years ago (less than one year old at the time). After converting an upstairs room into a bedroom, I noticed I could not control the heat in that room. Even with the vent off, the room remained very hot. I had an independent HVAC company inspect the system and found that the ductwork was installed incorrectly: the air return and supply ducts were reversed for that room. My husband and I really love to support local, so we gave The Furnace Doctor a call. We called in November and they came to service our furnace. They came, serviced it for about 15 mins, and then left. Told my husband they cleaned rust off a part and now it should work. About 20 mins after they left the furnace cut out again. So we called back and they came the next day. They spent another 20 mins and said the thermostat needed replacement but they didn’t have a thermometer in the service truck, so they said they would come ... read more
