The front is almost perfect. It has all the amenities you want, a nice coffee shop, friendly staff, great route setting. Unfortunately it seems like there is an epidemic of people getting fully ready to climb and tied in under a climb and then proceed to have a 20 minute conversation and its always on the climb you want to do. And when you give them the look "I want to get on this climb" or ask them if they're climbing they instantly are getting on the climb even though they have been chit chatting for 20 minutes
If you are joining for the sauna, there are never towels because the washer and dryer are constantly broken. If the washer and dryer aren't broken then sometimes the sauna is broken. If all three align, sometimes you are granted only one towel to use for both sauna and shower.
I brought my daughter here and we had a great time bouldering but geez it's expensive if your just visiting for a couple hours.
The Front is an incredible gym experience. Not only are there a vast variety of climbing routes available across their three first class locations, but they offer such a plethora of extra-curricular classes (climbing, yoga, group fitness, underwater basket-weaving, etc.) and activities that transform this gym into a community. The Front is an incredible asset to the social, physical, and mental health of the Salt Lake community. This place is really a Jewel.
