We went for lunch on a Saturday. They seated us quickly and got us out drinks in short order. We ordered our food quickly. We waited 45 minutes for the food. They clearly had an issue in the kitchen. I would be bashing our experience, but they were super aware of the issue. They apologized several times, checked in repeatedly, and proactively comped the meal and only charged for drinks. Took my sister here who has never been. We both had omelettes and sides of hash. Perfect from the first bite. Loved the atmosphere and the attentive, friendly staff. Very clean. We also had a couple seasonal Spirits which were very tasty and a great compliment for our visit. It is a bit pricey but worth it!
I go to the Friendly Toast often. So often that I have made some friendships here. From the management, the staff and the food is always great.
