I enjoyed my time here. Went on a weekday morning and had really quick service. The servers were so lovely! I’m not going to say this was the best breakfast I’ve ever had, but the portion was huge! I would definitely come back to try one of their specials!
So colorful, good music, delicious cocktails (the Harvard Square? Yes!), good food, and reasonably priced. Great service!
Friendly toast has an expansive menu! Today I had spinach and feta eggs Benedict my husband had the monster breakfast. As you can imagine that’s like a hungry man’s breakfast huge!!!! The pancakes, one as warm as they should’ve been but overall good. The bacon was pretty meaty, seemed as though they were thick cut. They have mock tail drinks and Mimosa platters a sampler. The food simply isn’t good enough for the people doing the seating to be barking at customers. Also a place like this would probably do well to hire managers who aren’t discriminatory towards moms and their kids. Unbelievable, horrible. Shameful. I can’t believe the experience we had today and I would never recommend to anyone.

The staff is just as welcoming and warm as the restaurant's name suggests.
