a cozy, homey retro-style diner and a great choice if you want breakfast in a beautifully decorated space. the interiors are a highlight, with a classic american diner feel that looks straight out of a movie. i’m glad i got the chance to eat here, especially because of the extensive menu. they offer plenty of american breakfast staples and do a good job accommodating both vegetarians and vegans. the portions are generous too, so come hungry! taste-wise, nothing was particularly groundbreaking, but the food had a comforting, ... read more
I walked in and it was a nice environment. The first thing you see is a sign that says “86 racism”, so off the rip it’s a vibe. One of the female star watched me walk and looked away instead of greeting me so that annoyed me. So I seated myself at the bar. The food was great, my only complaint about the food, Is being charged $1.50 for extra feta but there was barely any feta on my order let alone extra. All in all it seems like a chill environment. It was early so I can’t speak for a crowded environment.
My friend and I walked out when the waitress could not seat us at a full size booth. There were plenty of booths open, but the waitress remarked there were only two waitresses on staff and apparently these two did not want to walk an extra 20 feet to an open booth. Business must be so good they don't need the money!
I've been here quite a few times and have enjoyed it each time. The atmosphere and food quality give kind of a Denny's or Friendly's vibe, but slightly better. They make their own corned beef hash, which is a must for me; I'm not a fan of canned. I love the specials they offer, too. I've gotten their Cinna Swirl French Toast, Chocolate Chip Pancakes, Homemade Corned Beef Hash, Homemade Hollandaise Sauce, and Banana Slices.
