I took up needlepoint last year when I moved to Ft. Worth. I wandered into the French Knot one Saturday while walking my neighborhood and I am so glad I did. The owners and staff at the French Knot have been fantastic. They are always gracious in answering my many questions. I have also found a whole bunch of new friends in the other customers who stitch on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Kudos to Paula and Karen for fostering such a great community of stitchers.
Never been treated so rudely in my life when walking in somewhere. Not once did anyone say a word to me when I walked in, till I pulled down some silk thread and a lady rudely asked me if I needed anything. I am just getting into needlepoint and was excited there was a local place, but I think I'll stick to ordering online.
