Room was fine, but trying to contact the front desk is hard. I call and they don’t answer and you can’t leave a message.

My brother stays here when he's in town. We have family living in town... so we usually stay with them unless the house is full. This is the best budget hotel in Freeport ! There is no mint under the pillow... but the complimentary breakfast has everything and it's good. The staff is very friendly and they respond very well to your needs. The hotel is proximate to the highway and directly across the street from the Maine Beer Company and next door to Bucks Naked Barbeque. This isn’t a hotel, more like a roadside motel. The front desk area has been updated, but the rest of the motel is dated. Check in was at 3pm and when I arrived at almost 5pm they gave me keys to my room and when I opened the door it clearly wasn’t ready. I asked the housekeeper and he sent me back to the front desk. The woman at the front mumbled something inaudible and gave me keys to a new room. The hallways have a strong odor. Not sure if it’s fabric softener but it’s unpleasant.
