Most Noble Sirs and Worthy Travellers, We did recently take rest at The Fox and Hounds, and I must say it was a most agreeable stay. The Great Hall was grand and welcoming, with a fine high timbered ceiling and a roaring fire that warmed both limb and spirit. ‘Twas a fine place to sit and take one’s ease after a day’s journey. Lenny the barman was very Italian, we liked that. Poured a great pint and steered us in the right direction on their varied menu. Would definitely recommend the Lamb Shanks and Stout. Great service.
