My mother resided in their locked dementia unit for almost 3 yrs and it was a constant battle with the facility. People in their dementia unit are not supposed to act like they have dementia. They pretty much run a nursing home with no guidelines and as long as u can t walk, talk and u stay where they put u they leave u alone.
