Disapointing sunday lunch green veg hard undercooked, roast potatoes over deep fried couldnt cut them. Desert options strange and not tempting. Menu had very few options .service apalling after waiting to be brought menus, drinks, order food, had to ask for all at the bar after waiting almost an hour. Over priced. Smileing staff but no professional waitress, servers. Venue 16 was quality this pub miles behind.
The Fountain is such a good find. We have tried lots of pubs since we moved to the area and it is one of the best. The quality of food is exceptional particularly the duck breast. Five stars!
Went last night as a group of six, three courses so a range from the menu and every dish was superb. The goat cheese souffl starter was a particular standout. Great knowledgeable service and lovely atmosphere. Perfect catch up with friends and would definitely recommend.
