The place is pure chaos. It’s very clear that the ownership of “the foundry” cares little to none about the way his business is ran and the care of his own employees. The equipment is NEVER updated, the bathrooms are purely disgusting, you can tell the tension with staff is tense and makes you feel super uncomfortable. I also heard that at one point, someone got a staff infection from this very place!! I would never sign my child up here and or attend this facility. Pure chaos. He shows little concern for his facility, refusing to update any gym equipment. He only seems to care about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, neglecting both his employees and gym members. He presents himself as a Christian, but his actions don't align, and there's a cult-like vibe to his behavior.
My son started Ju jitsu there a few months ago. I don’t think there could be better trainers. They are patient(takes a lot because a few of those kids we “omg” unparented), willing to help even when class isn’t in process, encouraging, just nice freaking people man, and explain things at a rate your child can comprehend. I just don’t have anything bad to say. For the record, I have no affiliation to them or the facility. It’s just an honest review
All around great gym. I forgot my wrist straps one night and they were still there the next night.
I cannot say enough about where Maddy Roth has taken the gymnastics program, especially with the equipment & budget she has to work with. I came from a world class gym in IL that had everything needed for training. She boosted my daughters’s confidence so much while she competed under her so much that my daughter loves going back for tumbling classes weekly just to see her old teammates and coaches that we consider family.
