The Foundation for Delaware County has been a consistent source of support for Chester Eastside's After School Program. The Foundation staff acutely understands the community, and has the experience and expertise to offer guidance and direction. In short, the stronger the Foundation is, the stronger our community will be.
The Foundation for Delaware County has provided invaluable support to establishing Teachers' Teammates, a year-round teacher resource center serving under-resourced schools in Delco. Our small non-profit organization cannot rely on government assistance. We need funders like the Foundation for Delaware County to help us deliver Music, Arts and Education to our community. We are grateful for their support for these and our Coffee on the PATH initiatives helping to prepare high school students with disabilities for self-sustaining lives after high school.
The Foundation for Delaware County has been a lifeline for Delaware County non-profits and the communities they serve. This includes food insecurity, healthy moms and baby's, education, literacy for adults, children's programs and much more. The Foundation offers grant opportunities, educational training and resources and the incredible Delco Gives program which in two years has raised nearly $4 Million dollars for Delaware County Non-profits.
The Foundation for Delaware County serves as a vital safety net for nonprofits in Delco, providing trust-based grants, educational resources, and leadership development to help organizations operate as effectively and efficiently as possible.
