I have been a fan of "Forged in Fire" for a few years. So my wife called to schedule me for a forging of a knife with Chad Osborn. Chad was voted "Fan Favorite" from the show. Obviously I am a big fan. So I was very pleased that he had made sure to be at the forge for the time I chose to make a knife. He was more than friendly and helpful. What fun made a knife from spike, the blacksmiths are awesome had me on target for the hammer strikes
Cute idea. I would not do it again. Wish there was more direction on how to actually do it yourself. Seems like the guys let you hammer a few times to get a picture, then just do all the work themselves. It would be great for kids, if you made something other than knives...
