Can someone please explain to me how the appointments system works? Example: Monday had a blood pressure done at the pharmacy. Pharmacist instructed me to go straight to the surgery and pass on the results and get an appointment straight away. I did this and was informed no appointments available today. Next available appointment would be Wednesday, "sorry already had an appointment elsewhere so unable to attend. Well what about Tuesday," no appointments available but you can phone at 8am and get an appointment. What! How!??... read more
Honestly a shambles, calling me saying I have diabetes then realising its the wrong person? Referring me to the wrong people. Telling me that my chest infection will go as I have a really strong immune system (I have had this chest infection for 3 months now.) Surprised if they could figure out the difference between a rats ass and a humans nose.
Had a few appointments and walk ins recently. The receptionists don't seem attentive and/or particularly warm and caring. Partially representative of the state the NHS is in nowadays: Underfunded, understaffed, lack of training, poorly paid and also full of dispirited individuals as a result.
Lord Lister/ The Forest Pratice, Dr Driver & Partners, Used to be one of the best Doctors surgeries in the Borough, however times have changed and now this practice has to be close to.. IF not the worst now. 5/5/2022 Today Rings the doctors, at the start of call I was number 22 in the queue, I proceed to sit on hold for 26mins & 7 secs.. I get to number 3 in the queue Only to be diverted to answer machine? I then ring back and now I'm number 10 in the queue I just disconnect the call. This practice is a shambles.
