Well, gave it just 2 stars. Not because the food or the sevice was bad, it was because the management isn't doing a good job at managing their online presence. Was on the other side of my town, and decided to look and see what other restaurants there were. I was already at a restaurant we were going to eat at however, we decided we wanted to eat at somewhere local and new. Tried The Food Peddler for the first time today. Got the Deluxe Burger and Onion Rings. Burger and Rings were both perfectly cooked, and quite filling! Highly recommended -- I will definitely be back!
Came in around 1 on Sunday, small dining room and only one table open. Staff was friendly but busy. Ordered drinks that came out wrong, ordered food that came out and hour later. I get being busy, been there and done that. But an hour for lunch is a bit excessive when the dining room only has like 8 tables. We almost had to leave but then our food was ready. Pot roast was amazing!! My order came out as a basket instead of a dinner, no worries. Everybody has an off day and it seems like this was one of those. We will be back ... read more
