The medical practitioners here are really lovely and great at their jobs (Dr David and Nurse Sally) but I can rarely get a Drs appointment as they are always booked out well in advance. Plus when I finally get an appointment (that I booked a month in advance) it is cancelled on the morning of my appointment, with the only next available appointment offered a whole month away. The $40 fillings you can get being on a benefit from winz are not good quality fillings that last for several years they need to change the chemicals for the filling to make it stronger.... Dental work is too expensive in New Zealand and around the world in many countries!!!
I had a great experience at Fono Dental Clinic. From the receptionist to the dental assistant and dentist, everyone was kind, friendly, and professional. The dentist was very honest, clearly explained my situation, and gave me treatment options without any pressure to choose the most expensive one. I truly felt cared for and respected. I was disgusted how we were talked to and treated by reception staff. We have been waiting over a week for enrollment, no reply. Went to other doctors and was enrolled in 20 min. We felt we were dogs the way the reception staff spoke to us.
