The Folk Project of Morristown is New Jersey's premiere outlet for acoustic music and dance. They have a regular Friday night series of concerts and open stage sessions bringing the best emerging and established talent in the genre. There is also a Contra Dance series described as "like square dancing, but cool!" Ticket prices are low and the shows are held in a comfortable room at a Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. Great place with wonderful, friendly people.
Great venue shows every Friday. Quality sound & lighting. Well curated line ups run by a large cadre of wonderful volunteers.
A wonderful group of warm welcoming people who get together frequently to make music, share music, and enjoy music. Every Friday night there's live music. Besides weekly concerts they offer a wonderful open mic event. Check out the website for online events that occur several times a week as well.
What a great organization. Inexpensive way to hear talented musicians play original music is a comfortable environment
