I stopped in while in the area on vacation and had such a great experience. First, I did not have cash on me for a day pass and the owner (a really nice guy) let me come back later to pay. Second, the gym itself has everything you could need, including multiple racks (which can be hard to find) - and plenty of fans to help with the Florida humidity. The best part for me, though, was finding out from the owner that the guys who make the lifting belt I use (Dominion), have their workshop about 100 yards away. I needed some new... read more
This place is awesome
The important info for my fellow meatheads on vacation near Edgewater: - dumbbells up to 150lbs. - ALL the old school Body Masters machines, with excellent upholstery. - only iron plates, as it should be. - You’re not stronger than this gym, it’s got more weight Definitely stop in and pay $10 to get a gnarly pump and then head to the beach. 💪
Finally… A REAL GYM! Great experience, the owner is a super nice guy. Offers advice, a spot or just working out!. If you haven’t trained here then you’ve never really trained! Great atmosphere - old school gym experience.
