Oh my the biscuits, which this restaurants is known for, are to-die-for delicious! I could eat an entire meal of them!!! This is a great restaurant for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Very casual and inexpensive. The staff is always smiling and in a good mood. Make sure to try an egg scramble there.
I dream about their biscuits. The Flying Biscuit is my favorite brunch spot all around in Atlanta. Those grits and biscuits are enough to make anyone drool. The only downside is how it's always so crowded so be prepared to wait.
After all that happened there with the manager and her unborn child getting killed, not too sure that I want to check this place out :\
my wife and i really liked the food here. we had pretty good service but after reading some other reviews and also hearing from my sister on her experience, i'm gathering we must have gotten the exception. i think we will give it another try and if the service is bad like what we have been consistently hearing, we will more than likely not go back again. hopefully that is not the case as we really liked the food.
I wish I had the experience of the previous reviewer.... but I've been to this location more than a dozen times since they opened (love the food) and found the service to be consistently terrible. Only once has the service been good (Shelby was our server). For all the other visits, the service ranged from not-so-good to absolutely horrible. Wish it was still a best kept secret as it's always just too packed now and a long,long wait. AT least they do great take out! BEST grits in the world!
They're famous for biscuits?!? Mcdonald's biscuits are better... Other flying biscuits have much softer biscuits, but this one gives shame to the name. On top of that, the wait takes forever, and one day I was there for awhile and no one ever offered to refill my glass, which had been empty for almost the entire time I was there. Amazing! I love the Flying Biscuit. The food is phenomenal. Southern with a slightly healthier twist. The atmosphere is very family oriented and the decor is so cute. The wait staff is very friendly and everyone there seems to be happy and in a great mood. They do get very slammed so I like to go during the off hours when its a little slower, but even when they are slammed they seem to be able to handle everyone in a timely manner, which is much appreciated with a hungry family!
