This place has history that goes back to the vaudeville days and before. It is an icon! I highly recommend this theater. Expect long lines because of security and also to walk up about three flights of stairs if you’re in the balcony because there are no elevators. I saw Gutfeld there. And it was very nice. You can buy and take in two handfuls of drinks but hopefully you don’t have to go out during the middle of the show to go to the bathroom.
Best venue in Florida --maybe anywhere-- nicest people, awesome acoustics, every seat is wonderful.

I have been to several shows and events at this theater and they all have been wonderful. They bring in a variety of shows to this beautiful theater venue.
The theatre itself is so beautiful, you walk in and are completely transported to another era of old glory and unprecedented intrigue. We had such a wonderful time there. It was my 1st time partaking in the Rocky Horror Picture Show festivities and it more than lived up to my dreams.
Beautiful, historic venue with outstanding acoustics! We are Friends of The Florida Theatre and truly enjoy every visit!
