Floribean is a charming little spot that immediately draws you in with its inviting atmosphere. When I walked in, the cozy vibe and the sight of a few other patrons enjoying their meals made me feel right at home. Delicious! I wanted to try everything here. I got the Fresh Mex bowl with some extra sauces and Plantains. The pork had so much flavor and was so tender. The owner was there and walked us through all the options and what he thought went well together. His homemade salsa recipe was so gingery and delicious. He also let me sample the Oxtail and it was STUNNING. You could tell he loved the food he makes and it shows in the quality!
Wish I lived in St Pete so I could go here every week! The vegan options are unbeatable and oh so delicious. Best plantains and curried tofu I've had. Paired with the garlic/lime beans, sofritas, coconut rice, pickled onions and peanut sauce/chimichurri combo was heavenly! The staff were unbelievably kind and dedicated to making amazing food. Can't wait to come back the next time we are in town.
BEST Caribbean food I've ever had! My boyfriend and I went here after the St Pete boat show, and this food was so filling and delicious! :) The staff were also super friendly with us! I highly recommend this place!!
From the moment we walked in, we knew this was the place for dinner. Very welcoming, let us try out proteins and sides to see what we liked and made great recommendations. I had the garlic-lime braised beef with coconut rice, black beans, corn salsa, and the lime crema and everything was spiced beautifully.
