Super disappointed in JW restaurant. Scallops are tiny. No ribeye on menu (in Chicago of all places). They were out of the Lamb. I ordered pasta with beef cheek (I sent it back as it MAY have had ~1 oz of meat. It was just a plate of white noodles). The broccoli was perfectly cooked. Also the salmon in in bar is farm raised :-/

The food was great. Very good Italian cuisine here. The service was prompt. We had several people check in on us while we were waiting.
The Florentine is a solid spot if you’re looking for upscale Italian in the Loop. The ambiance is sleek but still warm, perfect for a date night or a nice dinner before a show. Spent about $80 for two—had the burrata ($18) to start, the short rib ravioli ($28), and the branzino ($34). Everything was cooked perfectly, and the flavors were on point. The wine list is extensive, and the staff actually knows their stuff when it comes to pairings. Service was attentive without being overbearing. If you want a high-end Italian meal... read more
