Beautiful and unique. The Florance is a lovingly restored and decorated historic building. The hospitality and amenities were fantastic. In a central location, walking distance from central Launceston, the Museum and park, whilst still feeling peaceful. We had the perfect stay.
My daughter and I stayed 3 nights 15 to 17 September 2026. The location is great, just across the road from the City Park. The breakfasts were very good and the staff were friendly. However, the several flights of stairs were a big challenge particularly with suitcases. My daughter was told on the second day that there is a 'secret' panel in the side fence - would have been helpful on the first day trying to get our suitcases down 2 flights of outside stairs.
