Lovely farm shop, very disappointed with the Fish Shed. Expected lovely fresh fish and chips instead was served with an expensive portion of frozen chips ☹
The foods pretty good but there is absolutely no world in which I can defend their prices. Also the staff are have no idea what their own prices are, every time we go here they charge a different price. Large chips costs �9!!! here it's an absolute joke. Almost 100 quid if you want a meal for your family
I stopped here for cod and chips on the night of the Eclipse, it was the first time I have tried the Shed and it was a massive disappointment! The chips appeared to be frozen processed chips out a packet, this cod tasted more like pollock and the batter was greasy and the portion was small - managed to eat half as I was really hungry but threw away the rest of it as it just wasn’t very nice at all. What a shame - and it cost �16!!! I don’t mind paying a bit extra for something nice - but this wasn’t the case here.
I was passing on my way home and stopped off for a takeaway, lovely lady served me very plasant and poilte.
Very very expensive for such a small portion of cod and chips. Peas however wasn't too bad. The fish was a bit soggy, chips were not very warm. Their staff seemed lovely to interact with. with. Sadly won't be returning to explore more of their menu.
