Duckets Bucket The best! With some cheezy bread...hmmmm yum
they have lost it During the boom Fish market was the place to be. After the bust the flavor and quality really dropped. A couple of months ago it was better but, After going again last week it really bad. The clam chowder was watered done. The salad tasted old. The only thing good was the bread. Hopefully they will come up again

good fish Fish market serves fresh fish of many varieties. They do have a kid's meal, so bring your whole family. The wait can be long, but the food and service makes up for it!
Excellent food, fresh fish but high prices This is one of my favorite restaurants. Casual enough to have a group lunch and feel you can laugh out loud with your friends as well as nice enough to have a good date. The food is great. All the fish is fresh and they make a great chowder. My favorite dish is the cioppino. You can get a half order for yourself or have some fun and share it with your company. Great food, high price but for fresh fish so it's worth it.
Fresh Fish! – My husband and I have been dining at all the Fish Markets (including San Diego) for years. The fish is always fresh and never over cooked. I am at a lost on how anyone could say they did not enjoy their meal. It is not a special occasion dining destination. This is a good choice for dining with your family or perhaps an informal party. I would liken this restaurant to the chain of Legal Sea Food restaurants.
Unable to eat the food. – Four of us dined at the Fish Market and all of us agreed the food was tasteless. We all ate a couple of bites and then left to eat elsewhere! The fish tasted as if it had been boiled in water and that was the grilled fish. Wouldn't recommend at all.
Excellent Seafood – The Fish Market truly has the best seafood in the Bay area. We started off our meal with a Smoked Salmon Salad. Although the salad was tasty with a hint of lemon and tabsco sauce, I would not recommend ordering appetizers because they only fill room in one's stomach that could be used for the exquisite entrees and desserts.
