I HOPE THE OWNER SEES THIS!!! (Let me preface this by saying I've worked in one form of customer service or another for most of my life.) As we don't have much options for a local fish store anywhere near where we live, and now that our tank is ready for livestock, my wife and I drove 5 hours to TFC based on online customer testimonials and video tours on YouTube. After spending thousands and thousands of dollars at this store, I will now never return. Your new “crew” sucks, aren’t friendly, and basically ruined the friendly atmosphere that the store use to have.

I do not recommend this place as I will never do business there again. Staff are condescending and rude. Today I had to part with my algae eater and I was treated like trash from the beginning. Staff gave two shits less about how I felt. There has to be a better place than this out there. I also see many others seem to have had the same problem. I have attempted to call twice only to be hung up on both times, so I have put an email through to request assistance from a manager. I’m not holding my breath 🙄 but beware....they ... read more

I would totally Recommend Fish Crew. As hard as it is now with the pandemic, this store is doing a very good job enforcing the safety of customers and staff based off of state and CDC guidelines and requirements. I appreciate any gentle reminders of safe distancing and mask wearing. I work in the health care field and it is refreshing for a business to take this situation seriously and comply.

I had called for some advice on my sick betta. I figured the filter needed to be replaced, but the store that sold it was out. So I was calling to see if there was any other options. Immediately I was shot down. As soon as I said "H filter Imagitarium" the caller said they don't have it, go to Petsmart or Petco. I am sure this isn't how the store represents itself, but this employee was rude. I ended spending $45 for my fish at Petco that Fish Crew could have got instead. Buyers beware! The shop may be impressive and the offerings are certainly interesting for most part. It is the people that do not measure up. Customer service seems to be the last thing on their minds. They seem to run the place like an entitled department telling their customers to give them "distance", wear your mask properly, and a return process that out-does the IRS in pickiness. Based on state, local and CDC guidelines, we have been forced to police social distance and mask guidelines. We have already been reported twice for non compliance of state guidelines and are doing our best to keep our state license so that we may stay open. Went to the fish crew and the man working was very condescending and rude, and refused to sell a melanurus wrasse because our tank is "too small". The recommended size for one is 50 gallons, and we've got a 40. However, this sales person was very rude and acted like we didn't know what we're doing. Also, when we buy coral from them, we "rescue" them. The salt water they sell is Fort Collins water, not even ro/di, so if you've got algae bloom in your tank and you're buying their water, that's why. I usually don't mind going t... read more

Hands down the BEST store in Northern Colorado. I’ve gotten my tanks, frozen food and all the other dry goods from them For several years now. I remember the time when they opened up. The big saltwater tank was and is a thing worth visiting them for. All the employees are very respectful and knowledgeable. Even in these crazy times they have helped me feed my fish. Thank you so much guys 😊
