Ralph Black is an unskilled, no good, lying, sorry excuse for a contractor. He claimed to be able to do a simple baseboard install. However, he damaged my stairs, walls, and couldn't even install the baseboard properly. He has zero carpentry skills and just uses wood putty to fill in holes/gaps that are several inches wide. I could not be more disappointed. Do NOT hire this man for anything!!!
On April 16, 2014, I hired Mr. Black to seal a kitchen skylight and repaint the ceiling. With the next rain, it was clear the skylight was still leaking. Mr. Black promised to return in a few days to finish the job. It is now almost 5 months later, and Mr. Black has ignored repeated phone and text messages about this issue. My patience with him is over.
Tried to get the owner to come measure my kitchen for a tile job. He was unable to come to the first scheduled appointment. We rescheduled and he was a no show. Disappointing and unprofessional. I called snd left a VM. He texted back " he was busy with another job and maybe I should find someone else to do my tile ." Great idea because why bother with disrespectful and inconsiderate people. Your customer service is lame.
Ralph and his crew are true professionals. They treated my home like it was their own and did an incredible job on my bathroom renovation. Several of my friends and family have used The Finishing Touch and had spectacular results. Easy to work with, friendly, professional with an outstanding outcome....I can't say enough good things about their work.
