I was a patient of the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit attached to the Fertility Clinic. As someone has stated, you are participating in an assembly line. Most of the staff is cold and want to be done with you as soon as possible. The ultrasound rooms I assume are also where they do D&Cs with a dish sitting under the old skinny bed. It’s dark and either old or dirty. One small light on in the corner that seems like it’s at the end of its life and the chair for your support person is a mile away. Im sorry i feel like this fertilty clinic in london some of the doctors don't care about there Patients, some of them like to push you out the door before your even done talking and that is not right or they dont Listen to their client about what going on with them it seems like some of the doctors in london only care about money. Really they should be taking time to hear the patients questions and issues. Its not a game there at your office for help start taking them serious.
I was a patient for several years with this clinic and my husband and I always found the Dr's, Nurses and support staff to be very professional and helpful. The onsite social worker is such a blessing and was by our side helping us during the final stretch. Always willing to assist. We are very pleased with this clinic. Although you don't always see the same dr or nurse, the flow is super efficient. It was nice to get a different perspective sometimes too. I was a patient with the Fertility clinic from 2018-2021 for a funded IVF treatment. The clinic's location in the hospital is convenient--all the treatments, tests and other appointments are done on site. However, there are SO many people supporting the clinic that I always felt like I was part of an assembly line--efficient, yet cold, detached, and impersonal.
