Had fences installed by the fencing people in 2017. Apparently h2 hardwood posts were installed. Some posts were already rotted at the base in ground by 2020. Was informed by the Fencing People that grubs had eaten the wood??? Their suggested remedy was to pay them to install 3 ugly steel posts to support the fence. Which the neighbour and i agreed. Now in 2025 all the remaining original h2 hardwood posts are rotten and the fences are leaning. After investigation it is apparently an installation problem as cement that was us... read more
We used The Fencing People for over 70m of boundary fencing. The quality of the fence was great, and the installer on-site was friendly and did a fantastic job. Unfortunately, the admin and communication side of the business was very poor. We had to chase them multiple times just to get proper quotes to send to our neighbours. Emails were often only partially answered, and after paying the deposit, we couldn’t get a response about when the work would begin—until we turned up one day to find they’d started without any notice.... read more
