Dr Nikki at The Fem Method was an amazing resource during my pregnancy. I highly recommend her for anyone pregnant or postpartum. Even if you don't think you have anything going on, it is worth the evaluation and birth prep courses. My husband also attended one of the birth prep sessions, so he knew how to support me during labor/delivery; he felt confident after that appointment so that he could take part in the process. Dr. Nikki is an absolute BLAST! I was recommended to her by a friend to work on pelvic floor strengthening ahead of having my first baby. She gave me exercises, worked with me on push/labor prep and was overall very knowledgeable, funny and personable. I would definitely recommend her practice to any expecting mama's looking to be the upmost prepared.
Pelvic floor issues are far from glamorous and can certainly feel way too intimate to share. But Dr. Nikki never makes you feel uncomfortable, embarrassed, or anything more than just a friend (a very well informed and educated friend) that wants to hear your story and help you in every way she can. Everyone should come see her after childbirth - it will truly be life changing!
