Out of the way from 84 not far but worth it.
I am definitely coming back for a second try as we got to the restaurant 40 minutes before it closed. I had fried catfish, baked potato and Mac and cheese. The fish was good. The Mac and cheese was runny. However the coconut pie that I got to go was OFF THE CHAIN!!! You could taste the slight sweet and saltiness of the crust even and the filling and meringue were incredible. I even wanted to lick the container…it was THAT good! We will definitely come back by and give this place another try!
Very tasty home-style food. They know what they are doing with the fried items. Excellent chicken fried steak. I was less impressed with the dessert items, but maybe that’s because we ate there later in the day and a lot of the dessert items were sold out. We tried the cheesecake and blackberry pie, and while both items were decent, we wouldn’t order them again. Overall, a very good restaurant… highly recommend!
