The Feathered Hook feels like home when you are there. I have been many times over the last few years and I cannot wait to go back. The whole crew over there does a fantastic job of making sure you have a great time. The property is absolutely beautiful and the team at Feathered Hook make you feel like family. As someone who fishes a lot at home in Colorado, I would say this is one of the best fishing trips you can experience!
Angel, Tess, and Frank are the most welcoming and gracious of hosts. The property, farm, and surrounding amenities are perfect for a quiet getaway in Central PA. The private water on Pine Creek is fantastic for any angler willing to bend to the demands of fishing for native Brown trout on their turf. These fish are smart, but not impossible to catch at all! This lodge is a welcoming oasis and the perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway! Whether you’re an avid angler looking for incredible fishing or just want to stay back to enjoy the gorgeous atmosphere and lodging, you are in for a absolute treat. I cannot recommend this place enough. Angel is exactly that—a true angel! The hospitality is unmatched, and the meals are always incredible. Seriously, make sure you pack pants with an elastic waistband!
The fishing is spectacular but it might even be outdone by The Feathered Hook Lodge's incredible setting. It is a time-stands-still kind of place, whether you're down on the river or sitting watching over the mountains from the farmhouse chairs.
I’ve been here twice, and each time it feels like a full reset. * Extremely peaceful * You feel far away from all the city noise * The people treat you like family Feather Hook Farm is one of those rare places where you slow down, breathe, and actually enjoy the moment. Highly recommend if you want quiet, nature, and genuinely great people.
