Have been going to this local store for a few years. They helped me pick out a set up for my feeder that is on a pole from my deck. Super friendly and really nice family run business. I am happy to support this local business. They also run local birding meet ups.

Very friendly helpful and fun shop. Nice staff helped my wife and i choose some new binoculars, which they had a very wide selection of. Also, family run and operated!
The Fat Robin is one of my favorite places to visit in Hamden. You can easily spend an hour or more in this shop. Ryan Zipp is the owner/photographer and he displays his many beautiful photos of scenery and wildlife. You can find bird houses, top grade bird feed and bird feeders. Ryan also stocks gifts for all, very different and eclectic. I highly recommend a stop at The Fat Robin!
