I went to The Body Shop – Highpoint recently with my mum, who wanted to buy an aloe vera cream, and had a really poor experience. A product clearly marked at $9 scanned as $12 at the checkout, and staff didn’t seem interested in fixing it. Even worse, one of the staff followed me around the store like I was doing something wrong. It was uncomfortable and disrespectful. Today I purchased several products in the store and I was really very satisfied. The young girl who helped me was extremely knowledgeable and well-prepared: she assisted me in choosing the products most suitable for my skin with great professionalism and kindness. She was truly lovely and very helpful in answering all my questions. The prices also seemed in line with those of other physical stores that sell Korean cosmetics.
They’re a bunch of scammers. They sell products for twice the price online and the website linked to their google profile isn’t even theirs. I ask the lady why this is and she tells me that they sell their products based on what their site manager wants which doesn't make any sense for a chain company. You’re better off buying online
