Beware. Im on medicare they told me the retinal scan was not covered so I paid cash at the time of visit. On returning home i spoke to my insurer it was one of my yearly covered tests. My insurer with me on the line called their billing department and spoke to one of their billing specialists. The isurer infromed the billing specialist it was covered and to bill insurance and refund what I paid. They never followed through on the request just put everything on hold till they sent a bill for a co pay.. Beware
