EDIT: Just had a routine cleaning at a different dental office - it went perfectly, as it usually does. They told me they use a tool called a waterpick which gets most of the tarter and plaque before doing the rest. Zero pain, needed no freezing and was treated with respect. I think my terrible experience at Esthene had to do with their new dentist who is not listed on their site. Not a great experience overall. I’ve lived had dental work across Canada and usually enjoy going to the dentist, but this was by far my worst dentist experience ever. I had my first appointment here this afternoon, and the gum measuring was very painful (which was unusual) so I asked for freezing. While the dentist stepped out to get my records, the assistant seemed visibly frustrated by my discomfort letting out an obnoxious sigh. I can honestly say, best service and experience! I've never been to a doctor or dentist office that stays on schedule more! I really appreciate their organization as someone who has a busy schedule!

I have been going to this Dentist for almost 60 years. Currently I am now a 2nd generation patient as my dentist retired, and his daughter runs the practice now.
