I cannot say enough about how amazing this venue is for a wedding. My husband and I had the day of our dreams thanks to Nichol and her staff. Nichol was available for any and all questions leading up to the big day and on the big day. She made the entire day go seamlessly. I continue to get compliments from my guests about the service throughout the reception from her wonderful staff. Truly cannot thank the staff of the Essex and Sussex enough for the best day of my life!
I was recently here for a wedding and was injured while here, after slipping on marble floors near the entry way. I was very surprised by the lack of carpeting near the entrance and to add, no wet floor signs on display, while it was known to be a rainy day. While the venue itself is nice, it’s crazy to think that this is also a 55+ community… somebody else could end up injured, even more severely than I was.
