If you love detailed, immersive escape rooms, go to The Escapement. As someone who works in escape rooms, I was amazed by the quality and effort that was put into the Pirate Ship room. Our Swashbuckling host Tom was warm, friendly and constantly stayed in character throughout the experience. We finished in 40 minutes and Tom gave us a walk through about the mechanics of the room with some Pirate facts which was really interesting and engaging. This was our third time at Escapement and we had been really looking forward to it after loving The Pit and Pirates of Polaris. The Egyptian themed room did not disappoint with some amazing ingenious puzzles and surprises, including styles we had never seen before. Gary was a brilliant host, informative, comedic and really understanding our team. We look forward to the new room opening! Thank you :)

I've done several room escapes at other places before, but I wanted to give one a go with my parents, who have never done one before. Our room as the Egyptian Exodus, and the adventure started as soon as we entered! The room was immersive with good effects. The puzzles were different to ones that I've seen before so it felt fresh for someone more experienced but also wasn't too challenging for those going for the first time. I'm fairly new to Escape Rooms, so I don't have much of a benchmark, but the host (Ashley) was very enthusiastic and engaging, she clearly enjoys what she does. We did the pirate themed escape room (Polaris) and I felt that the use of authentic props and materials really added to the experience. Everything felt meticulously thought out and we had a great time. We'll definitely be back to try the other two (three when the new one opens...)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Fantastic Family Adventure! We had an incredible time in the Egyptian room at Ashley Amazing! The puzzles were clever, immersive, and just the right level of challenge for a mixed group of family and friends. The atmosphere was spot-on—mysterious, exciting, and beautifully themed.
