Absolutely fantastic escape room (we did the Pit), fully immersive, great fun, and the perfect amount of challenge. It was the second time we have been hosted by Ash (the first at a previous site 2.5 years ago, on a first date!) and she was equally brilliant, enthusiastic, and helpful at all the right times. Can't recommend these rooms enough and looking forward to (hopefully) escaping the other two!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Fantastic Family Adventure! We had an incredible time in the Egyptian room at Ashley Amazing! The puzzles were clever, immersive, and just the right level of challenge for a mixed group of family and friends. The atmosphere was spot-on—mysterious, exciting, and beautifully themed. We absolutely loved our experience at The Escapement in Margate! We were a group of four, just in town for one night, and this ended up being the absolute highlight of our trip. We did “The Pit”, and it was fantastic. The puzzles were really well thought out — not too easy, but not so hard that you stop enjoying it. The atmosphere was spot on and super immersive. The Pit was my first ever escape room, and I wasn't disappointed!! Ashley was a real diamond who talked us through the experience and answered any questions we had (and gave lots of reassurance!) Was nice to get performance feedback after completion, will definitely go back and try the other rooms!! Two of us completely it in 77 minutes 😁
Best escape room we have done - made extra good by our host Matt who was lovely, friendly, made us feel welcome and fun. Sand was great fun, more interactive! Very engaging, very funny, didn't feel pressured. Loved the little charms was a lovely touch, puzzles challenging but doable, with good intervention by host when needed help. Thanks Matt!
