Beautiful place. Had an issue with the AC and Ben (I believe) contacted me personally on the phone and I appreciate it greatly. He was very friendly and eager to offer any solution he could to rectify the situation. Great way to handle business.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Empress. The new owners are very hospitable. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated--the main house is like walking into a Victorian time capsule. Looking forward to returning.
We enjoyed our visit, it was exquisite inside and beautiful outside. The room was so lovely, the bed was so comfortable, we slept like babies!! Hope to visit again. We would highly recommend!!!
Stayed in the pagoda suite, the room was dark but nice.
Edit to add: The owner personally reached out to me and extended his sincere apologies and even offered to rectify the issues specified in original review. Being a business owner myself, and knowing first hand that things happen, it is always important to own it and offer a solution. Great job on the follow up and genuine care for your guests.
