Rooms are dark and industrial-looking. Not inviting or comfortable. And to top it off, I accidentally left behind some of my nice jewelry. I called immediately and was told the jewelry was not found. 99.99% sure it was stolen. Will not stay again.
I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this hotel. The rooms were clean comfortable. The location was terrific. There were many excellent bars and restaurants within walking distance and the metro station was only a few blocks away. The hotel desk staff was friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Edson for all of his recommendations. The coffee shop attached to the lobby had the most delicious breads and pastries made by Bad Butter. THIS REVIEW IS FOR COFFEE SHOP ONLY: Amazing baristas, friendly staff, but there is huge problem: the sign in the window says "metric coffee", and they used to serve it there, but recently switched out, and it's noticeably worse. I will have to stop coming here for coffee, until the bring Metric back. P.S. their cold brew is still metric, and pastries are killer.
Great location. Enjoyed our stay. Clean rooms and friendly service.
