If I could give Elms no starts I would. The clinic is awful at pretty much all services. Online e-consult form never works, so if you don’t need an appointment urgently but need to have a referral to a consultant, you can’t get that done. If you call at 8, which is the only option, no one picks up for 40 minutes. So if you have a job, or any kind of life, and you can’t spare 40 minutes, then no appointment for you. It’s an awful service, which is getting worse and worse. Certainly not worth my tax.
Making an appointment is very difficult. Call at 8: wait ages, go into surgery: book online, online: speak to a receptionist.
I have been dealing with this surgery for the last few months for my elderly mother . They have always been excellent in finding the correct path for mums treatment and have always been very supportive and professional,I really couldn’t fault their service. I’m a new patient and for the last three months, I still cannot get to see the doctor I suffer with depression and severe anxiety. I’ve had no medication. I discovered a mole on my back that had changed in colour and size. I telephoned to book an appointment for a Doctor to check it for me. Only to be informed by the receptionist that she had no pre-bookable appointments available. Also she didn't know when I would be able to book one. The surgery website offers you to be able to book an appointment online but when you try you are informed not to book appointments on their Contact form. Absolutely pathetic service. I wonder how many patients fall by the wayside.
