A bar that advertises craft beers, specialist wines and a carefully chosen selection of spirits, so it's particularly disappointing that traditional British cider doesn't receive the same consideration. Why is independent brewing celebrated while independent cider making is so routinely overlooked? Britain has a fantastic heritage of cider production and hundreds of small makers deserving attention. I'd love to see a bar like this offering even a couple of interesting, properly made British ciders.
Decent house pint for less than a fiver but damn the music is deafening, ears bleeding unless you're sat at the furthest outside table
