Guaranteed that everyone will enjoy staying at the Elk Barn in Heron. Meggen is an excellent host. We had asked for extra beds and some rooms and they were all there plus the pack and place for the babies. We had a family reunion there with about 20 people. The house has eight bedrooms and 7 1/2 bathrooms we love the two sitting areas, one with a fireplace both with TVs. There were TVs in every room. There’s a huge front porch. Beautiful location, accommodating to our event needs and the owner was very friendly
We just hosted our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding in September of 2024. I can’t say enough about Meggen, venue and her team. We had the venue from Friday till Sunday including the camping area and Cowboy cabin. The venue is well worth the cost and was truly a family and friend’s weekend event. We were able to have the rehearsal Friday night and have all the parents and wedding party in the barn and Cowboy cabin. The Elk Barn Inn is an amazing place! Inside the barn is absolutely stunning with large log beams, warm wood walls, and nap worthy seating. We had a family reunion with 20 of us staying here. It never once felt crowed. Outside is even more beautiful! Mountain views surround you with their beauty, and the nearby creek exudes tranquility.
