Called and was told I could get a day pass after 8 and was told I could go until 10 and buy a pass and the girl at the desk wouldn’t let me in or sell a day pass saying they are closed to non members after 830. Update: owner Mr Woolley gave me a call and gave his heartfelt apology and was genuine and explained it was a mistake. I hope to get the opportunity to go back and experience this gym next time I’m in town. I haven’t seen the gym yet but anyone who cares that much is worth a visit.
The Edge is OK for an after work gym. Compared to Club One, it is less expensive, more convenient for me, and accessible 24x7. Plenty of free weights and machines, and I never have to wait for equipment (unlike Club One). They do have some cardio machines, and I have never had to wait for a treadmill. The only downside is that all the kids hanging out gives it a school-gym vibe.
Incredibly friendly staff and well maintained equipment and training facilities! They also recently installed AC units which will be great in the warmer months.
If you're serious about lifting, this is the best gym on the Island.
The Edge is the best place to go for the gym, sports, training and everything fitness related! The staff is great and helpful. They have so many machines and equipment to workout with. People there are very friendly and polite. I love the Edge and there isn’t a better place to go!
