If I could give it 0 stars I would, the gym itself is fine a little pricy but fine. The issue is with their service I originally signed up for the most expensive membership then a few months later looked into canceled and was told I’d have to give a notice and I tried multiple times online and it didn’t work for all of these reasons, anyways I go in person to ask about it they say they can’t cancel it but they can downgrade it for me which I agree and we both sign a new contract. Gary at The Edge in Bristol is honestly one of the friendliest associates I’ve ever met there. I’ve been going to The Edge for probably 10 years at this point, and I’ve been to almost every Edge in the tri-state area. I don’t think I’ve ever had such a genuinely positive interaction with a staff member. He was super nice, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and just came across as a really good guy. Great customer service and definitely someone who makes the gym feel more welcoming.
Terrible organization. Nobody working there has any idea what’s going on. The membership program is absolute garbage. The gym is managed super poorly. Don’t recommend for anyone.
Unfortunately, I canceled my membership because I’m sick of people recording in the locker room. Despite the obvious signs stating not to record in the locker room, people still do it. When this issue was brought to the attention of management their response was “oh well they like to record themselves and to take it up with them”…..since canceling this membership I have had a much better experience at Powerhouse in Bristol.
